About the Symposium

Transplant Center Research Symposium

The Transplant Center Research Symposium brings together physicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, students, and members of the transplant community to examine current challenges and innovations in transplantation.

Through keynote presentations, faculty speakers, and interdisciplinary discussions, the symposium explores organ-transplant access, biotechnology, organ availability and distribution, transplantation ethics, organ allocation, and socioeconomic, racial, and geographic disparities in patient outcomes.

OTHA members support the symposium by volunteering, helping with event setup and activities, tabling, and connecting students with the event.
